The first noble of Stigler family: Franciscus Joachimus Stigler, Nob. Saxo. ("Sächsische Adel": Maria II, Duchess of Saxony (Maria secunda Principum Saxoniae Mater, 1698).[3]The earliest occurrence in Germany is in the Court and State Handbook of the Kingdom of Bavaria. (1781, Hof- und Staatshandbuch des Königreichs Bayern - p. 221)[4]The Stigler family now lives in many countries around the world (Austria, Hungary, United States of America, Norway, Italy).
