Stanislaus County, California

Stanislaus County (/ˈstænɪslɔːs/ or /ˈstænɪslɔː/)^[1] is a county in the Central Valley of the U.S. state of California. As of the 2020 census, the population was 552,878.^[2] The county seat is Modesto.^[3]

Stanislaus County was founded in 1854.^[4]
