Publication history

Spider-Ham first appeared in Marvel Tails Starring Porker the Spectacular Spider-Ham #1 in 1983, created by Tom DeFalco and Mark Armstrong.

Fictional character biography

He's a spider who was transformed into a pig, while still retaining some spider-like abilities, after being bitten by a radioactive pig, in playful contrast to Peter Parker.

He's known for his comedic personality, slapstick humor, and his adventures in a cartoon universe where animals take on superhero roles.

In other media

Spider-Ham is a popular character in the Marvel multiverse, especially featured in the animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
