Shriram Properties Limited is an Indian real estate development company headquartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka.[1][2][3] Established in 2000, it is part of the Shriram Group,[4] a diversified financial services conglomerate founded by R. Thyagarajan.[5][6] The company develops residential and commercial projects across multiple cities in India.[7][8]

History

Shriram Properties commenced operations in Bengaluru in 2000 and later expanded to cities including Chennai, Kolkata,[9] Coimbatore, Visakhapatnam, and Pune.[10] The company primarily follows a joint venture and joint development model for project execution.[11][12][13]

In 2021, Shriram Properties was listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of India.[14][15][16][17]

Operations

The company’s primary markets include Bengaluru, Chennai, and Kolkata,[18] with additional presence in Pune, Coimbatore, and Visakhapatnam. Its portfolio includes apartments, villas, plotted developments, and commercial real estate projects.[19][20][21]

As of 2024, the company has completed 48 projects covering approximately 27.6 million sq ft[22][23] and has delivered homes to over 31,000 customers.[24][25]

Financials

During the same period, it recorded sales of approximately 4.3 million sq ft valued at ₹2,284 crore.[15][31][32]
