The series is a adaptation of the manga of the same name that was created by the manga artist, Mohiro Kitoh in March 1998.

Summary

The series is about the main protagonist, 12-year-old Shiina Tamai (voiced by Asami Sanada in Japanese and by Kelly Ray in English), who one day, meets a star-like creature (later revealed to be a "Dragonchild") she nicknames Hoshimaru. It involves Shiina interacting with other children who have also interacted with dragons.

Licensing

The series ended up being licensed and getting an English dub by Central Park Media in 2004, while the source material .[1]
