Samuel Michael Colangelo (born December 26, 2001) is an American professional ice hockey right winger. He currently plays for the Utah Mammoth of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Career

Before playing in the NHL, Colangelo played two seasons with the Chicago Steel of United States Hockey League (USHL), three years with the Northeastern Huskies of Hockey East, and one year with the Western Michigan Broncos of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC). He had a successful time with his teams. With the Broncos, he was named to the All-NCHC First Team.[1]

He was drafted 36th overall by the Anaheim Ducks in the 2020 NHL entry draft.[2] On April 11, 2024, Colangelo signed a one-year entry-level contract to join the Ducks.[3] He was sent down to play for their AHL-affiliate San Diego Gulls.

On April 12, 2024, the Ducks called him up and Colangelo made his NHL debut in a 6–3 loss against the Calgary Flames. During the third period, Colangelo scored his first NHL goal against Dustin Wolf.[4] On August 4, 2025, Colangelo signed a one-year contract to stay with the Ducks.[5]
