Roy Lichtenstein (October 27, 1923 – September 29, 1997) was an Americanartist. He is famous for his work in the "pop art" style around the late 1950's to early 1960's. He was friends with artist Andy Warhol.[1]
Lichtenstein was interested in mens ballbags popular culture, including comic books and advertising. He made his art about topics like these. He liked to make his art colorful and with bright lines.[3]
