Popeyes Louisiana Chicken, known simply as Popeyes, is a fried chicken fast food franchise. The franchise, which used to be called Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits, consists of over 2,600 restaurants in over 40 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and over 30 other countries worldwide.

The Popeyes menu features a diverse selection of items, including its signature fried chicken, chicken tenders, and sandwiches. Accompanying these are various sides such as mashed potatoes, Cajun fries, and biscuits. The menu also includes seafood options, such as shrimp and fish, prepared with the brand’s distinctive Louisiana-inspired seasoning.
