Petronas Philharmonic Hall

The Petronas Philharmonic Hall is Malaysia's first concert hall for classical music. It is home to the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO). Many top orchestras, like the New York Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, BBC Symphony, and Vienna Symphony, have performed there.

The concert hall opened to the public on 17 August 1998. It was opened by Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali, the patron of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, and her husband, Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad.
