Pete van Wieren (October 7, 1944 – August 2, 2014) was a former American sportscaster. He was the voice of Major League Baseball's Atlanta Braves along with Skip Caray.

Van Wieren was born in Rochester, New York.

He also called games for the Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Falcons preseason, and Atlanta Flames. Van Wieren also was employed for Turner Sports calling college football games on TBS and NBA games for TNT and TBS. He unexpectedly announced his retirement in 2008 after the death of fellow broadcaster Skip Caray.

Early in 2010, Van Wieren was diagnosed with lymphoma.^[1] Van Wieren died from the disease in Atlanta, Georgia, aged 69.^[2]
