Manuel Carlos Valls (French: [ma.ny.ɛl vals], born 13 August 1962) is a Spanish-born French politician. He became the Prime Minister of France on 31 March 2014.[1]

Valls was born in Barcelona to a Swiss mother and Spanish painter Xavier Valls.
