Kurdistani Party, shortly PAKURD (Kurdish: Partiya Kurdistanî, پارتیا کوردستانی), is a Kurdish nationalist political party founded on 26 May 2014 with the signature of 500 delegates.[1] The party's predecessor is the Kurdistan Conscience Initiative, which organizes acts of civil disobedience.[2] The founding chairman of the party is İbrahim Halil Baran, and the current party spokesperson is Sedar Halman.[3] The party declared its aims as "open Kurdistanist politics, Kurdistan nationalism, non-violence and civil society".[4]
