José Manuel de Herrera (27 March 1776 – 17 September 1831) was a Minister of Justice and President of the Chamber of Deputies but he most famous for being the 1st First Minister of Mexico. He studied at the Carolino College of Puebla and he was the President of the Chamber of Deputies in 1828 and 1829. He died on September 17, 1831.
