Joshua David "Josh" Duhamel[a] (born November 14, 1972) is an American actor and former fashion model. He is well known for his role in the movie Transformers. From 2009 to 2017, he was married to singer Fergie.

Early life

Duhamel was born in Minot, North Dakota. His mother, Bonnie L. Kemper, is a massage therapist, and his father, Larry Duhamel, is an advertising salesman.[1][2] He is of French-Canadian, Irish, English, German, and Norwegian ancestry.[2] Duhamel was raised Catholic.[3]

Personal life

Duhamel married singer Fergie on January 10, 2009.[4] Their son, Axl Jack Duhamel, was born on August 29, 2013.[5] In September 2017, the pair announced their divorce.[6]
