He is a goldsmith by profession. Buzek started his career in the youth ranks of Vienna. He stayed with them for 13 years. He also played for the other big capital teams Austria Wien, Wiener Sport-Club and Rapid Wien. In 1969/1970 he got relegated with Dornbirn. 1956 (with Vienna) and 1956 and 1966 ( with Austria Wien) he became top scorer of the league. After finishing his playing career with Austria Klagenfurt he became a full-time goldsmith in Baden bei Wien.
International career
He made his debut for Austria in an October 1955 match against Yugoslavia and earned a total of 42 caps, scoring 9 goals. At his debut he was 17 years und 161 days old and was the youngest team player till then.[1] He was a participant at the 1958 FIFA World Cup.[2]
