Jeffrey Davidson Bostic is a Barbadian politician and former army officer who has been the 2nd and current president of Barbados since 2025. He was a cabinet minister in the cabinet of Mia Mottley.[1] Bostic was the Minister of Health and Wellness of Barbados and a Member of the House of Assembly of Barbados.
On 7 October 2025, Bostic was elected by the Parliament of Barbados to become the country's second president and first male president. He took office on 30 November 2025.[2]
In 1989, Bostic was made a Member of the Royal Victorian Order (MVO) for services as an equerry to Queen Elizabeth II.
In 2022, Bostic was conferred the Order of Freedom of Barbados (FB).
