Jaime de Armiñán Oliver (9 March 1927 – 9 April 2024) was a Spanish screenwriter and movie director. His movies were nominated for Academy Awards in the Foreign language movie category twice, in 1972 for Mi querida señorita^[1] and in 1980 for El Nido.^[2]

Armiñán died on 9 April 2024 in Madrid, Spain, one month after his 97th birthday.^[3]
