Ingrid Law is a NYT Bestselling Author who has won a total of seven awards for her book Savvy. [1]She writes books for children.[2] Her books include Savvy, Switch, and Scumble.[3]

When she was six she and her family moved to Boulder, Colorado. [4]She visited small towns. [5]These towns gave her ideas for her book Savvy. [6]She got the idea to write picture books during the year 2020 when she started reading poetry. [7]

All of her 7 awards are for her most well-known book Savvy, some of them including the John Newbery Medal, the ALSC Children’s Book award, and the Andre Norton Award for Young Adult Science Fiction and Fantasy.[8]
