Indium tin oxide (ITO) is a group of chemical compounds made out of indium, tin, and oxygen. These compounds are mixed oxides of indium(III) oxide (In2O3) and tin(IV) oxide (SnO2). An important type of indium tin oxide is 90:10 ITO, named for the mass fraction of indium and tin oxides, which is the most common material used for transparent conducting films in optoelectronics.
