Hyman William Katz (1898–1988) was an American artist. He was born in Poland. He did printmaking for the Works Progress Administration (WPA).^[1]

Katz's work is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art,^[2] the National Gallery of Art,^[3] the Philadelphia Museum of Art,^[1] and the Smithsonian American Art Museum.^[4]
