Gåte is a Norwegian band from Trøndelag that play Norwegian folk music bred with metal and electronica. Their style has been referred to as progressive folk-rock. They represented Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with the song "Ulveham", after winning Melodi Grand Prix, the contest used to select Norways's artist for the Eurovision Song Contest, they finished 10th in the second semi-final and 25th out of 25 countries in the grand final.[1][2][3][4]
