The Golden Valley Library is a public library in Golden Valley, Minnesota.[1] It is a part of the Hennepin County Library system. The Golden Valley Library was opened in 1958. Its current building was made in 1971.
In 1958, the library opened in the Golden Valley Village Hall.[2] It closed in 1971 for the new building.
In 1971, a new building was made. The 1971 building is the first library in Hennepin County Library that was not crowdfunded. The building overlooks the Basset Creek.[3]
There are plans for a new library building in Fall 2026.[4] It is part of a larger plan to expand the city of Golden Valley.
