Gangawati (or Gangavati, Kannada: ಗಂಗಾವತಿ) is a town, municipality and taluk in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is part of the Koppal district.
In the 2001 census of India, Gangawati had a population of 93,249.[1]
Near Gangawati is Hampi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) south-west of the town.
