Francisco H.L. Ou (Chinese: 歐鴻鍊; pinyin: Oū Hóngliàn; 5 January 1940 – 30 October 2021[1]) was a Taiwanese politician. He was born in Hsinchu, Taiwan, Empire of Japan. He was the Minister of Foreign Affairs between 2008 until 2009 during the Ma Ying-jeou presidency. He was also an ambassador to Guatemala and Nicaragua.
Ou died on 30 October 2021 from pneumonia, aged 81.[2]
