Eric Lorenz Barone [1][2]Born on December 3, 1987, and known professionally as ConcernedApe, he is an American video game developer and musician.

He is best known for making the 2016 video game Stardew Valley by himself. Eric Barone has a degree in computer science and worked on every part of the game, from coding to creating the music. He updated the game alone for several years after it was released, then later brought in a small team to help continue development.

He still supports Stardew Valley while working on his next project, Haunted Chocolatier.
