Diep.io is a multiplayer browser game created by Matheus Valadares in 2016.
In this simple browser game, players control tanks and shoot geometric shapes such as squares, triangles, and pentagons and other tanks to earn XP, level up, and upgrade their stats. The game became popular on the internet, especially on YouTube, and attracted millions of players every day. It became the most played video game of 2015.[source?] A company from Switzerland called Miniclip made a mobile version of the game.
