Daniela Andrea Avanzini Llorente (born July 1, 2004) is an American singer and dancer
She started her career as a child dancer and was a finalist on So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation in 2016.
She later became a member of the girl group which was made through the 2023 reality show Dream Academy by Hybe and Geffen Records.
Daniela Avanzini was born in Atlanta, Georgia.
Her mother, Ana Llorente, is from Cuba, and her father, Rafael Avanzini, was born in Venezuela, but is of German, Italian, and Spanish descent. [1]
Both of her parents are professional ballroom dancers. Daniela started learning dance when she was three years old.
Her mother was the first Cuban.[2][3]
Daniela speaks English.
She began performing at a young age in Atlanta, where her early involvement in dance and stage performance helped shape her path toward a professional entertainment career.[4]
Avanzini began dancing in local and international contests when she was young.
At age seven, she won second place in the international contest Super Kids Europe. [5]
She later danced on TV shows such as Sábado Gigante, America's Got Talent, and The Queen Latifah Show. [6][7]
In 2016, she joined So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation and finished in the top 10. [8][9][10]
She also acted in commercials and in the short film Georgia Sky. [11][12]
As a teenager, she shared videos of herself singing and playing music on social media.[1]
In 2020, she appeared as a dance guest on the children's TV show Wonderama.
In 2021, she appeared in MattyBRaps’ music video for the song "Dramatic".[5]
In 2023, Avanzini took part in Dream Academy, a global audition show by Hybe and Geffen Records. [13]
She finished in third place and became a member of the group Katseye. [14]
She is the first Latin American artist signed under Hybe. [15][16][17]
In 2025, she was featured on the song "Let Me Tell You" by South Korean singer Yeonjun.[18]
Prior to the public release of Katseye’s debut single “Debut,” Avanzini and her fellow members had been training and working together in Los Angeles, and later traveled as a group to Medellín, Colombia, to film the music video, marking their first work trip together as part of their early career development.[19]
