The first series debuted in 1998, but its concept car was unveiled just a few years ago. Designed by Giugiaro, the first series was available in standard or van versions[1].

The second generation arrived in 2005 and was essentially an all-new version. It was primarily marketed as the Chevrolet Matiz due to the closure of Daewoo[2].
