Cosford is a small village in Shropshire, England. It is located between Telford and Wolverhampton on the A41 road. In the 2011 Census, it was listed as part of a Shifnal ward.
It is a very small village and is mostly made up of houses for Royal Air Force personnel who work at RAF Cosford.
An A41 junction with the M54 motorway is located just 1 mile (1.6 km) north of Cosford.
Cosford railway station is on the Wolverhampton–Shrewsbury line. Trains between Shrewsbury and Birmingham New Street stop here.
The Royal Air Force Museum Midlands is in Cosford, at RAF Cosford, and is a major tourist attraction.
