Catalina Thomas Coll Lluch (born 23 April 2001), also known as Cata Coll, is a Spanishfootball player. She plays as a goalkeeper for FC Barcelona in the Liga F league and also represents the Spain national team. Cata Coll started playing football when she was 6 years old for a team called Sant Marçal. Initially, she played as a central defender but switched to being a goalkeeper when she was 11. She even played on boys' teams until she was 14. Then, she moved on to women's teams, starting with Athletic Marratxí and later Collerense.[3] In her last season with Collerense, she played a crucial role in helping the team get promoted to the Iberdrola Challenge League.[4] She performed so well that she caught the attention of top-tier clubs in the Primera División. Eventually, she decided to join FC Barcelona.[5]
