Bullshit (also bullcrap, bullshite, bull, or simply B.S.) is a common vulgar word in the English language. It is usually used as a noun, verb or interjection that describes a lie, statement meant to deceive or nonsense.
It is used to call out someone not telling the truth, e.g.
- As a noun: "That is total bullshit." ("The statement is not true.")
- As an interjection: "Bullshit!" ("I do not think what you just said was true.")
- As a verb: "Stop bullshitting me." ("Don't try to deceive me. I know what you are saying is a lie."). [1]
