Final

The final took place on 8 September.

Liesel Schumann won the competition in a new world record. With her performance of 42.3 metres she improved the former world record of Braumuller (40.37). Auguste Hargus [de] who finished second was with a distance 40.99 metres also better than the former world record.^[4][5]
