Anne Posthuma (31 May 1807 – 22 October 1866) was a Dutch pharmacist and politician.
Posthuma was born on 31 May 1807 in Dokkum and was the son of notary Gerhardus Wiebes Posthuma and Maria Uurhaan. He was first married on 28 December 1832 in Dokkum to Werdina Klaver, who died on 15 November 1840. Afterwards he married her seven years younger sister Saapke Klaver, who died on 17 March 1850. Finally he married Johanna Alberta Hendrica Hugenholtz on 26 June 1851 in Dokkum. He was alderman of Dokkum from 1851 to 1858. He was the mayor of Dokkum until his death.[1][2]
Posthuma died in Dokkum on 22 October 1866, at the age of 59.[1]
