Ranulf II (također poznat kao Ranulf le Meschin ili Ranulf de Gernon) (1099–1153) bio je anglo-normanski plemićki magnat koji je engleskom palatinskom grofovijom Chester vladao kao svojim lenom od 1128. do smrti. Poticao je od grofova Bayeuxa u Normandiji, a leno je naslijedio od oca Ranulfa le Meschina.

Godne 1136. je škotski kralj David I napao Englesku i dopro do Durhama, nakon čega je kralj Stephen Škotima predao dio Ranulfovih zemalja. Zbog toga se Ranulf u građanskom ratu stavio na stranu Stephenove suparnice Matilde, nadajući se da će tako povratiti izgubljenu zemlju. Godine 1141. je osvojio zamak Lincoln, ali je kralj isti zamak osvojio u opsadi tokom koje je Ranulf bijegom morao spašavati život. Ranulf je poslije toga angažirao pomoć earla Roberta od Gloucestera te povratio zamak i prisilio Stephena na predaju. Dok je Matilda vladala Engleskom, Stephenova kraljica Matilda od Boulognea je uspjela kod Winchestera poraziti Ranulfa i njegove saveznike, što je na kraju omogućilo Stephenov povratak na prijestolje.
