Маленький принц— миниатюрная скульптура в Кишинёве, установленная 10 августа 2018 года в парке Валя Морилор на Комсомольском озере (современное название водоёма совпадает с названием парка) [1]. Высота фигурки — 11 см. Скульптура расположена на металлическом заборе на набережной, на 23-й декоративной сфере[2].

История

Автор - Игорь Удушливый (иллюстратор и дизайнер из Молдовы), приверженец скульптур небольших размеров, которые работают как полноценные достопримечательности («Мальчик, смотрящий на Луну» в Стокгольме, «Мудрая мышь» в Хельсинки, Чижик-Пыжик).[3]

Получилось совершенно спонтанно. Я гулял у озера и заметил, что эти шарики на ограде, как маленькие планеты. Тут же возникла ассоциация — кто может жить на маленькой планете? Маленький принц»

Оригинальный шар-навершие у декоративной ограды на берегу водоёма был утрачен и вместо него появился «астероид B 612 и его житель – Маленький принц»[4].

Маленький принц - первая скульптурная работа Игоря Удушливого.[5] Маленький принц прошёл много этапов сотворения: из вылепленной пластилиновой модельки сделали гипсовую форму, из неё — восковую, а из восковой — финальную гипсовую с проработанными деталями, по которой и была отлита статуя из бронзы [6][7].

Игорь Удушливый установил скульптуру на свои деньги.[8]

Осенью 2018 по просьбе создателя скульптуры для Маленького принца связали шапку и шарф.[9] В праздничные дни в Кишинёве стало традицией одевать Маленького принца для поздравления жителей города.[10]

Многие считают, что Маленький принц приносит удачу: для этого нужно притронуться к бронзовой планете и сфотографироваться у скульптуры.[11]

Другие работы автора

Автор планирует разместить на пересечении улиц Вероники Микле и Михая Эминеску скульптуру в виде двух соприкасающихся ладоней.[12]
