Статус и границы сельского поселения установлены Законом Республики Татарстан от 31 января 2005 года № 19-ЗРТ «Об установлении границ территорий и статусе муниципального образования "Верхнеуслонский муниципальный район" и муниципальных образований в его составе»[2].
