17-я армия (нем.17. Armee) — создана 20 декабря 1940 года. В августе — сентябре 1942 года именовалась как армейская группа «Руофф». Армия была уничтожена в мае 1944 года в Крыму, затем вновь сформирована в августе 1944 года.

В августе 1941 — бои в районе Умани, в сентябре — в районе Киева.
19 октября 1941 года. Немецкие 17-я и 6-я армии продолжают наступление на Харьков и Белгород. 17-я и 6-я армии добились успехов в своём наступлении на Харьков и Белгород.
