Озёра Аргентины

На территории Аргентины основная часть крупных озёр расположена на юге страны — в «озёрном крае» — Патагонии. В предгорьях Анд и Патагонии насчитывается свыше 400 озёр[1]. Крупнейшие водоёмы — Мар-Чикита, Буэнос-Айрес, Архентино, Сан-Мартин и Вьедма. Кроме того, Мар-Чикита (в переводе с испанского — маленькое море) является пятым по величине степным озером в мире[2]. Бо́льшая часть патагонских озёр имеет ледниковое происхождение[3][1]. Озёра в северной части Аргентины в большинстве случаев солёные.
