Кустанайский округ — административно-территориальная единица Казакской АССР, существовавшая в 1925—1930 годах.

История

Кустанайский округ был образован 14 сентября 1925 года из волостей Кустанайского уезда, находившегося в прямом подчинении Казакской АССР. Округ делился на волости.

17 января 1928 года в связи с введением окружного деления в Казакской АССР границы Кустанайского округа были изменены: к округу отошла часть бывшего Акмолинского уезда Акмолинской губернии. Округ был разделён на 15 районов:

17 декабря 1930 года округ, как и все остальные округа Казакской АССР, был упразднён, его районы укрупнены и переданы в прямое подчинение республиканским властям.

Население

Плотность населения в 1928 году составляла 1.9 человек на км². Наиболее заселёнными являются — Фёдоровский и Боровской районы (12.3 и 13.3 человек на км²)[1].
