Valle Pasquarella (Baschi) este o arie protejată (arie specială de conservare — SAC[1], sit de importanță comunitară — SCI) din Italia întinsă pe o suprafață de 529 ha, integral pe uscat.

Localizare

Centrul sitului Valle Pasquarella (Baschi) este situat la coordonatele 42°42′25″N 12°18′53″E / 42.706944°N 12.314722°E ({{PAGENAME}}).

Înființare

Situl Valle Pasquarella (Baschi) a fost declarat sit de importanță comunitară în iunie 1995 pentru a proteja 45 de specii de animale. Situl a fost protejat și ca arie specială de conservare în august 2014[1].[2][3]

Biodiversitate

Situată în ecoregiunea mediteraneană, aria protejată conține 7 habitate naturale: Păduri de Castanea sativa, Pajiști uscate seminaturale și facies de acoperire cu tufișuri pe substraturi calcaroase (Festuco-Brometalia) (* situri importante pentru orhidee), Pante stâncoase calcaroase cu vegetație casmofită, Pseudostepă cu ierburi și specii anuale de Thero-Brachypodietea, Păduri de Quercus ilex și Quercus rotundifolia, Galerii de Salix alba și de Populus alba, Păduri panonice-balcanice de stejar turcesc - stejar sesil.[3]

La baza desemnării sitului se află mai multe specii protejate:[2]

  • păsări (41): uliu păsărar (Accipiter nisus), pițigoi codat (Aegithalos caudatus), șorecarul comun (Buteo buteo), sticlete (Carduelis carduelis), Certhia brachydactyla, florinte (Chloris chloris), șerpar (Circaetus gallicus), erete de stuf (Circus aeruginosus), erete cenușiu (Circus pygargus), porumbel gulerat (Columba palumbus), cioară neagră (Corvus corone), cuc (Cuculus canorus), pițigoi albastru (Cyanistes caeruleus), ciocănitoare pestriță mare (Dendrocopos major), măcăleandru (Erithacus rubecula), șoim călător (Falco peregrinus), vânturel roșu (Falco tinnunculus), cinteză (Fringilla coelebs), gaiță (Garrulus glandarius), privighetoare (Luscinia megarhynchos), gaia neagră (Milvus migrans), codobatură de munte (Motacilla cinerea), muscar sur (Muscicapa striata), grangur (Oriolus oriolus), pițigoi mare (Parus major), viespar (Pernis apivorus), pitulice de munte (Phylloscopus bonelli), pitulice de munte (Phylloscopus collybita), ciocănitoarea verde (Picus viridis), pițigoi sur (Poecile palustris), aușel sprâncenat (Regulus ignicapilla), cănăraș (Serinus serinus), țiclete (Sitta europaea), turturică (Streptopelia turtur), huhurez mic (Strix aluco), silvie cu cap negru (Sylvia atricapilla), silvie roșcată (Sylvia cantillans), silvie mediteraneană (Sylvia melanocephala), pănțărușul (Troglodytes troglodytes), mierlă (Turdus merula), sturz-cântător (Turdus philomelos)
  • mamifere (1): lupul (Canis lupus)
  • nevertebrate (2): croitorul mare al stejarului (Cerambyx cerdo), rădașcă (Lucanus cervus)
  • reptile (1): șarpele cu patru dungi (Elaphe quatuorlineata)

Pe lângă speciile protejate, pe teritoriul sitului au mai fost identificate 2 specii de plante, 1 specie de amfibieni, 7 specii de mamifere, 5 specii de reptile.[2]
