Eleições parlamentares na Finlândia em 2011

As eleições legislativas na Finlândia realizaram-se em 17 de abril de 2011 e serviram para eleger os 200 deputados ao parlamento finlandês.

O tema que marcou estas eleições foi se o governo da Finlândia deveria apoiar ou não o resgate financeiro pedido por Portugal, em Março de 2011[1]. As sondagens demonstravam uma enorme imprevisibilidade no resultado final, com os tradicionais grandes partidos finlandeses (Partido da Coligação Nacional, Partido Social-Democrata e Partido do Centro) a serem acompanhados pelo populista e eurocéptico Partido dos Verdadeiros Finlandeses, algo que tornou ainda mais interessantes estas eleições[2].

Os resultados finais deram a vitória ao Partido da Coligação Nacional, que assim, pela primeira vez, tornou-se o partido mais votado em eleições legislativas, isto apesar, de ter perdido votos e deputados[3][4]. Os outros grandes partidos tradicionais, os social-democratas e centristas, também perderam votos e deputados, sendo que os centristas foram os mais prejudicados[3].

Como esperado, o Partido dos Verdadeiros Finlandeses foi o grande vencedor, tornando-se o terceiro maior partido da Finlândia, passando dos 4,1% conseguidos em 2007 para 19,1%[3][4]. O sucesso do partido em, muito, se explica pela sua retórica eurocéptica, populista e anti-imigração[5].

Após meses de negociações, o Partido da Coligação Nacional conseguiu formar governo, liderando um governo de coligação com 6 diferentes partidos[6]. Além do Partido Coligação Nacional, integram o governo o Partido Social-Democrata, a Aliança de Esquerda, a Aliança dos Verdes, o Partido Popular Sueco e o Partido Democrata-Cristão[6], sendo, de realçar, a ausência do Partido dos Verdadeiros Finlandeses do governo, e, assim, tornando-se o principal partido de oposição ao novo governo, liderado por Jyrki Katainen[6].
