M’era Luna – duży festiwal muzyczny odbywający się corocznie w niemieckim Hildesheim na terenie dawnej brytyjskiej bazy lotniczej (obecnie teren należy do Lufthansy), gdzie poprzednio odbywał się tam festiwal Zillo. Festiwal odbywa się na dwóch scenach, pierwsza to corocznie budowana duża scena, druga znajduje się na terenie byłego hangaru lotniczego. Wydarzenie propaguje muzykę w klimatach dark independent kładąc nacisk na gothic metal, rock gotycki oraz electro.

Historia

Pierwsza edycja festiwalu edycja odbyła się w 2000 roku. Corocznie festiwal przyciąga około 25 tysięcy fanów mrocznej muzyki^[1]. W 2001 doszło do podziału wewnętrznych struktur agencji organizującej imprezę. Jeden z odłamów powyższej agencji podjął się zorganizowania M’era Luna. W chwili obecnej, M’era Luna jest jednym z największych festiwali europejskich^[2], zaraz po Wave Gotik Treffen propagujących muzykę z gatunków: wave oraz gothic.
