W nocy z 11 na 12 sierpnia 2017 wieś Młynki została spustoszona przez nawałnice. Okolice wsi zostały niemal całkowicie pozbawione lasów. Oddziaływania silnych wiatrów spowodowały również straty materialne, niemal we wszystkich zabudowaniach gospodarstw domowych.
