Leon II – wnuk Leona I, syn Zenona i jego córki Ariadny
Zenon Izauryjczyk – zięć Leona I, mąż Ariadny
Bazyliskus – uzurpator, szwagier Leona I, brat jego żony Weryny
Anastazjusz I – zięć Leona I, wyniesiony na tron przez Ariadnę
