Øyvind Åsland (født 1971) var generalsekretær i Norsk Luthersk Misjonssamband (NLM) fra 1. september 2010 til 15. mai 2022.[1][2]

Bakgrunn

Åsland har fireårig teologi- og missiologiutdannelse ved Fjellhaug Misjonsskole og en mastergrad i missiologi fra Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology. Han arbeidet i Kenya i syv år, og i 2005 ble han regionleder for Etiopia, Kenya og Tanzania.[3] Åsland ble i november 2009 ansatt som ny leder av NLM Utland, og hadde hovedansvaret for Misjonssambandets arbeid utenfor Norges grenser. I 2010 ble han ansatt som generalsekretær i NLM.
