Myspace (stilisert som myspace og MySpace) er et sosialt nettsamfunn, med over 100 millioner registrerte brukere. Nettstedet ble opprettet i 2003 og vokste i løpet av de neste fem årene til å bli et av de mest populære nettsamfunn på internett. Fra 2008 fikk de stor konkurranse av Facebook, noe som førte til at Myspace mistet mye av sin popularitet.[1] Myspace ble opprinnelig opprettet for å gi usignerte band muligheten til å vise seg frem og dele informasjon om fremtidige konserter. Siden ble raskt for flere enn bare musikere, og utviklet seg til å bli en ren communityside for folk som vil diskutere, blogge og vise frem bilder.[2] I 2006 ble nettsamfunnet kjøpt opp av Rupert Murdochs medieselskap News Corporation for 580 millioner dollar.[3]

Opprinnelig var nettstedet kun engelskspråklig, men fikk etter hvert støtte for flere språk, blant annet spansk og norsk.

Myspace var lenge verdens største nettsamfunn, inntil de i 2008 ble forbigått av Facebook.[4]

I 2011 ble Myspace solgt til Specific Media Group og Justin Timberlake for 35 millioner dollar.[3]

I 2013 gjennomgikk Myspace en fullstendig redesign og fikk mer fokus på musikkstrømming.[5]
