Luis Miguel på Commons

Luis Miguel (født Luis Miguel Gallego, 19. april 1970 i San Juan på Puerto Rico) er en meksikansk sanger og skuespiller, ofte kjent som El Sol de México (Mexicos sol).[2] Foreldrene hans er den spanske sangeren Luisito Rey og den italienske skuespilleren Marcela Basteri.[2] Luis Miguel oppnådde stor suksess allerede som barn da han blant annet som tolvåring sang i bryllupet til den daværende meksikanske presidentens datter.[2] Han har fått en stjerne på Hollywood Walk of Fame. Han har fått fem Grammypriser og fire Latin Grammys, han har solgt over 95 millioner album og er dermed den mestselgende nålevende artisten i Latin-Amerika.[trenger referanse] Miguel var blant artistene som sang duett med Frank Sinatra på sistnevntes "Duets"-album.

Han har tidligere hatt forhold til blant andre Mariah Carey og Daisy Fuentes, men er nå sammen med den meksikanske skuespilleren Aracely Arambula.[trenger referanse] Paret fikk sønnen Miguel i januar 2007.
