Light in My Darkness

Light in My Darkness er en bok av Helen Keller. Den har blitt beskrevet som hennes «spirituelle biografi», og hun argumenterer i boken for idéene til Emanuel Swedenborg (swedenborgianisme). Boken ble opprinnelig utgitt i 1927 under tittelen My Religion. Den opprinnelige utgivelsen bar preg av hastverksarbeid; boken har senere utkommet i reviderte utgaver der det er ryddet opp i kapittelstrukturen og språket har blitt modernisert.

I 1960, mot slutten av Kellers liv, utkom en revidert versjon av boken under tittelen Light in My Darkness. Den nye tittelen bygger på et poetisk utsagn fra Keller:

I know that life is given us so that we may grow in love. And I believe that God is in me as the sun is in the color and fragrance of the flower, the Light in my darkness, the Voice in my silence[1]

Boken kom i dansk oversettelse under tittelen Min religion på det danske forlaget Aschehoug i 1929 og i svensk oversettelse samme år under samme tittel.
