Krise

En krise er en plutselig forandring, avgjørende vending eller forstyrrelse som vil eller kan lede til en utrygg og farlig situasjon som berører et individ, en gruppe eller større entiteter. Kriser medfører negative utviklinger i samfunns- eller miljømessige aspekter, spesielt om de oppstår abrupt med lite eller intet forvarsel.

Det er flere definisjoner på hva en krise er. Den svenske psykiateren Johan Cullberg beskriver flere typer kriser; livskriser, utviklingskriser og traumatiske kriser. [1][2][3]

Etymologi

Ordet stammer fra gresk krisis («prøvelse, avgjørelse, dom», til krinein «skjelne, utvelge; avgjøre, dømme»; jf. tysk Krise, fransk crise; beslektet med kritikk.

Krisekommunikasjon

Krisekommunikasjon. Krisekommunikasjon handler om tre ting:

  • Før krisen: kommunisere for å forhindre kriser og planlegge for kriser som likevel vil kunne ramme.
  • Under krisen: kommunisere med krisens interessenter og berørte interessenter, håndtere utfordrende saker.
  • Etter krisen: kommunisere for å gjenreise tillit og omdømme, lære av hva som har skjedd.
