Jeremy «JD» Deputat (født 2. desember 1976) er en amerikansk fotograf og art director fra Detroit i Michigan.[2]

Utdannelse og karriere

Jeremy Deputat ble født i Detroit, og studerte på Wayne State University. Etter å ha fullført ved det forskningsbaserte universitetet begynte Deputat å fotografere. Han ønsket å fotografere kjendiser og musikere, og jukset seg frem på scenen med å lage «falske presseadgangskort».[3] En av de første kjendisene han fotograferte med sitt falske pressekort var Marilyn Manson. Etterhvert som han ble kjent med flere artister, begynte han å fotografere dem på og av scenen, fulltid.[4]

JD har jobbet sammen med Travis Barker[5], Dej Loaf[5], Game[6], Danny Brown[7], Red Bull[8], Moody Man[9], Janis Maria Wilson[10], Spike Lee[11], Shady Records[12], 50 Cent[3], Kid Rock[13], Dr Dre[14], Eminem[15][16] og flere.

JDs arbeid har vært publisert i Rolling Stone, Vibe, XXL Magazine, Billboard, ESPN The Magazine og Bloomberg.[5]

Bokutgivelser

Jeremy Deputat ga ut sin første bok i 2013, i samarbeid med Kid Rock. Boken fikk tittelen I'm Kid Rock, What's Your Excuse?.[17][4]

Nothing is Forever

Et av Jeremy Deputat sitt større øyeblikk kom i 18. juli 2014, da fikk sitt vist frem sine bilder på Detroit's Inner State Gallery. Galleriet hans hadde solo visning og ble kalt «Nothing is Forever».[18][19]
